Experience Mallorca At This Underrated Spa Hotel On The Sea

There are many amazing hotels far and wide in Mallorca, that is no secret on the island. One in particular caught my eye (and wallet) on a girls’ holiday to this beautiful island off the coast in Spain, Hotel Roc Illetas & SPA. This under-the-radar stay is a 4-star resort sharing an exclusive direct beach and swimming area with Hotel Bonsol, neighboring property which offers an equally breathtaking view. From suites to superiors, and multi bedroom flats, there is a suitable spot for groups of all sizes. Apart from stating the obvious that the resort boasts gorgeous views, the gastronomy is no exception. From the stunning El Ancla Bar or for a more casual bite at the snack bar, Las Velas, the resort truly is fit for palettes of all kinds. While staying at Hotel Roc Illetas, the gals and I opted for a late lunch the first day on Terraza Las Velas, and enjoyed the buffet dinner the following evening. Dishes vary each day and are curated by local chefs immersing their own takes on traditional Mallorcan, Spanish and international cuisine. Now, back to one of my ultimate favorite amenities of the hotel that was briefly mentioned at the start, the hotel’s direct access swimming area into the beautiful Mediterranean. I can confidently say the gals and I spent at least 50% of our time soaking up the sun on the private tiki themed loungers and diving into the sea when desired.
